Event Services books the following spaces:

* - Event Services handles "event specs" for all events held in their premiere spaces. This means that you will meet with Event Services to coordinate the room set up and services of Aramark.

Bon Appetit has exclusive catering rights to Holmes Lounge and Women's Building Formal Lounge.

Office of Residential Life and the Village Office

The Office of Residential Life books space on the South 40.

The Village Office books space in the Village.

South 40 and Village spaces will be cleaned by the regular cleaning service so there is no need to arrange for an outside cleaning service. However, if they must do excessive cleaning, the student group will be responsible for the additional charges. Please see the Office of Residential Life or the Village Office with any questions or concerns.

What is Aramark/BOSS?

  • While their name has changed, their services have not. Aramark handles pre and post event clean-up, event set-up and take-down, event portering, and special trash removal in Event Services booked spaces.

When do you need to arrange for Aramark/BOSS services?

  • Have you booked an Event Services space and are serving food and/or beverages during your event?
  • Have you booked an Event Services space and will have an attendance of 200 or more at your event?

How do you arrange for Aramark/BOSS Services?

  • Contact Diane Kavanagh at 935-9314 for an initial price quote for services.
  • Once you have a quote for the cost of services, submit a Purchase Order request with the Student Union Business Manager.
  • Contact Aramark with the Purchase Order number. Your request for services will not be scheduled until Aramark has received a Purchase Order number.
  • When your event is over, Aramark will submit the invoice directly to the Student Union Business Manager.
  • As with all aspects of event planning, it is important to keep copies of all correspondence and agreements for your files!
  • All requests made less than 3 business days of the event will be considered an emergency and will be billed with the emergency rate of service.

Facilities Planning and Management

If you want to construct something, need an electrician, or need grounds clean-up after your event, Facilities Planning and Management will help you to determine which Facilities staff members can assist you further.
