| The OSA has joined forces with
Event Services and Student Union to help provide audio and
video resources and support on campus with the development
of the new Media Services division. Media Services provides
basic audio and video equipment and technical support on
the Washington University in St. Louis campus for non-class
activities. Media Services assists students, faculty, and
staff with their audio and video needs at a centralized
location for a minimal cost. This unit also serves as the
primary provider for technical support in common spaces
(Gargoyle, Graham Chapel, Homes Lounge, Lambert Lounge,
McMillan Lounge, Umrath Lounge, Women’s Building Formal
Lounge) reserved through Event Services.

Media Services Rates for Equipment Rentals and
Services
AV Equipment Rental: ( Student Union Groups take
$10 discount off each rate)—rental rates are for a
24 hour period . Equipment used on weekends must be checked
out by Friday at 5 p.m. and returned Monday morning by 10:00
a.m. Multiple set-ups at multiple locations will require
additional technical services billing.

the small LCD projector, portable screen, and the Dell laptop

***Delivery, set-up, and return is not included in the
pricing. If needed, cost is $35 per hour with a one hour
minimum on weekdays from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and a four hour
minimum after hours or on weekends.
The $35 per hour tech rate applies for any A/V technicalservice,
but MUST be paid when renting the Large LCD projector and
projection screens with masking.
**All A/V items require a $100 refundable deposit, which
can be paid in cash, check, or through a verified student
group expense report form. Deposit will be returned upon
completion of rental agreement if all terms of the agreement
are met and equipment is returned in proper condition. Rental
and tech fees can be paid via cash, check, IDO, or through
a verified student group expense report form, and are payable
upon receipt of invoice from media services.
