Applications will be available online starting October 1. LeaderShape® 2009 will take place during Spring Break, from March 7-12, 2009.

Program Timeline
Priority deadline: December 5, 2008, 5 pm
Final deadline: January 30, 2009, 5 pm

Cost
There is a $100* cost to students who are selected to attend. A $100 participation fee is required for all applications to be considered complete. Upon confirmation of attendance, the $100 will be placed toward your participation cost. A $100 fee will be assessed to your student account if you cancel past the cancellation deadline. Engineering students may be eligible for a participation scholarship. Please inquire for more information. *We do not want money to be a reason for not applying to the program. Therefore, if you are unable to apply to the program for financial reasons, please contact the Office of Student Activities to discuss your situation.

Travel Arrangements
All students will travel to the LeaderShape® facility via a bus provided by LeaderShape®. If you miss the bus, you will not be able to attend and your deposit check will not be returned. (You must plan to stay the entire session length. Exceptions will be made only in emergency circumstances.)

Packing List (Quantities suggested are for a six to seven day trip)

NECESSARY:
7 comfortable, casual outfits
(shorts, pants, jeans and t-shirts, short sleeve shirts, polo shirts, winter jackets, sweatshirts, etc.)
7 pairs of socks
1 pair of shoes
1 pair of sneakers
1 casual belt
1 extra set of casual (grungy) clothes and shoes/sneakers you don’t mind getting dirty: (for low ropes/challenge course on Day Two)
1 professional dress outfit: men: sport jacket and tie; women: dress, skirt/blouse, dress slacks
1 pair of pajamas
1 sweatshirt or sweater (can get cold at night or cold in air-conditioning)
1 light jacket / winter jacket
1 poncho and/or umbrella (for spring/summer sessions only)
1 flashlight and batteries
1 insect repellent and sun screen (for spring/summer sessions only)
1 pair of sunglasses
1 week of prescription medication (if required/needed):
(headache, cold, allergy, bee stings, etc.)
1 set of personal toiletries: toothbrush and paste, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, comb and brush and any other personal
needs.

There is not a laundry facility available for your use during The LeaderShape® Institute. Please plan accordingly.
